The majority of all auto crashes can be traced back to four driving behaviors: Speed, Attention, Fatigue, and Emotion. Branded “Drive S.A.F.E.,” Federated Insurance’s driver awareness program helps business owners and risk managers call attention to these behaviors to help their employee drivers understand the risks each can present, and their resulting consequences.

This educational presentation will cover three objectives: (1) Statistics related to drug use in the workplace, medical marijuana, and legal marijuana. (2) The different types of drug testing PROGRAMS--pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, post-accident & return to work, and (3) The different types of drug testing PRODUCTS--urine, hair, and saliva.

November 15, 2017: Fall Protection Competent Person
This four-hour course includes recognition of fall hazards, when fall protection is required, selection of appropriate fall protection systems, and inspection and use of personal fall arrest systems.
December 13, 2017: Aerial Lift Certification
This course is a review of operator responsibilities, inspection procedures, operating hazards, a hands-on review of the equipment, and an operator evaluation which includes each student successfully demonstrating proper use of the controls and maneuvering of the lift.
